The Hong Kong Jockey Club 125th Anniversary Sweepstakes, showcasing the key achievements of the Club and remarkable horses over the years, will go on sale starting from 2 October 2009 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Club. The Sweepstakes Tickets will be issued under two major series, each featuring 10 attractive designs. The "Club Milestones & Contributions" series will highlight major achievements in the Club's history and some of its notable community projects. The second series, "Hong Kong's Equine Heroes" will feature ten of the most famous local horses to grace the racetracks, beating the world's best on home or overseas turf.
 A Lucky Draw Ticket will be given free with every Sweepstakes Ticket purchase, offering customers the chance to enter the lucky draw tied with The Hong Kong Jockey Club 125th Anniversary Cup to be held on 15 November 2009 at Sha Tin Racecourse. The first prize of the lucky draw is gold valued at approximately HK$12,500,000.
