MATCH PREVIEW

For Sarandi Arsenal, completing the schedule has been torture. Godoy Cruz can celebrate despite failing to win the title: they had their best tournament ever in the First Division.

Sarandi Arsenal drew 1-1 at bottom placed Tucuman last round. They have hired a new manager, Gustavo Alfaro. But Carlos Ruiz will manage this final game. "It'd be nice to go out with a home win; the guys deserve it for all their effort in Tucuman despite failing to notch the win", said Ruiz, who played center back for Arsenal until last year. The interim manager will field several youngsters and usual reserves against Godoy Cruz.

Godoy Cruz arrive at Sarandi happy for having won 34 points with the victory over Colon 3-0 and having become the pride of Mendoza, a province 1,200 kilometers away from Buenos Aires. The board is so happy they'll pay a bonus for this performance. "We could use three more points," said Asad, who's thinking about the relegation table for next season; but Godoy Cruz won't have to worry about that after this fantastic semester.

Sarandi Arsenal have improved with Ruiz, but Godoy Cruz are the better side. This should be an away win.

HEAD TO HEAD

They've played 12 matches, with 4 wins for Godoy Cruz, 6 for Arsenal and 2 draws.

In the first division, they've only met five times, with two wins for each side, always at home, and a draw (0-0 last December in Mendoza).
