29/1 First leg of Triple Crown - Stewards’ Cup
The Stewards' Cup was first run at Happy Valley on 22 May 1954. It has become the first leg of the Triple Crown since the series was first introduced in the 1991/92 season. This season, the HK$ 8 million Hong Kong Group 1 race over 1600 metres will be run on 29 January 2012.
Last year, Beauty Flash was well-placed during the race, fought courageously and prevailed by a neck from the fast finishing Sunny King and Irian.
