The day's many highlights will include the presentation of the coveted 2010/11 Champion Awards for most outstanding horses, trainer and jockeys. With 10 successive Champion Jockey honours under his belt already, Douglas Whyte is determined to make it 11 in a row. Meanwhile, Tony Cruz, John Moore, Caspar Fownes and John Size are all striving to be first past the post as Champion Trainer. The horses and performances of this season's Rising Stars have been equally exceptional! Storming up the ladder from Class 4, Ambitious Dragon has scored breathtaking wins in the HKG1 Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Classic Cup and the Hong Kong Derby! He subsequently went on to trounce top overseas contenders in the G1 Audemars Piguet QE II Cup. Can he add 2011's Horse of the Year award to his list of accolades? Watch this space!
